Phishing is also something I'm not very sure about, but Steam currently does offer support for that, and all the new things to prevent your items from getting stolen like the new e-mail confirmation, 15 day trade ban if you log in from a new device, 5 day trade ban if you change your email, items bought from in-game store/market cannot be traded for 7 days etc.
This is my opinion: Steam shouldn't help anyone if they get scammed by something like "I'm gonna give you a cd-key/wallet money after the trade" or if they get quickswitched, if you're so fucking stupid that you fall for that then to bad, go eat a pickle and cry.īut what I think Steam(and PayPal) should help with is PayPal chargebacks, it's not your fault if you get chargebacked, you're not "stupid" if you "fall" for that.
